من كان بالله أعرف كان لله أخوف، ولا يكون الخوف من الله حاصلاً إلا بتعظيم الله جل وعلا، ومعرفة قدره، ولا يستطيع أحد أن يقدر الله حق قدره كما ينبغي له، فإن هذا لا يبلغه أحد، لكن على المسلم أن يعظم الله ويكبره بقدر استطاعته.
