بِسم الله الرَّحْمَن الرَّحِيم
الْحَمد لله الَّذِي يخص من يَشَاء بِمَا يَشَاء من فَضله وَالصَّلَاة وَالسَّلَام على مُحَمَّد وَصَحبه وَأَهله
هَذَا جُزْء مُخْتَصر من كتاب الْحَافِظ أبي زَكَرِيَّا بن مَنْدَه رَحمَه الله فِيمَن عَاشَ من الصَّحَابَة مائَة وَعشْرين

«They rejected them out of mere iniquity and self-exaltation, although their consciences were convinced of their being true. So see how was the outcome for those given in to spreading disorder and corruption.»
