1- قال:
"يا أهل بغداد: لا تَظنّوا أن أحداً يَقْدِرُ أَن يَكْذِب على رسولِ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وأنا حيٌّ "1".

"من قدّم عليّاً على عثمان فقد أَزْرَى بالمهاجرين والأنصارِ"2.
