مقاتل بن سليمان ( - </p><p>5 هـ = - 767 م) مقاتل بن سليمان بن بشير الأزدي بالولاء، البلخى، أبو الحسن: من أعلام المفسرين. أصله من بلخ انتقل إلى البصرة، ودخل بغداد فحدث بها. وتوفى بالبصرة. كان متروك الحديث. من كتبه (التفسير الكبير - خ) جزء منه، و (نوادر التفسير) و (الرد على القدرية) و (متشابه القرآن) و (الناسخ والمنسوخ) و (القراآت) و (الوجوه والنظائر) نقلا عن : الأعلام للزركلي
